180 / The Net

No 180/The Net (church picnic)

Don't forget that there's no 180 or The Net this Sunday, May 31st.  At 1:00, we'll be having the church picnic at Thompson Park in Jamesburg.  Pack a lunch and stop by for some games and tournaments and a lot of fun with other people from our church.  The picnic lasts until...well...until you get tired and have to go home.  We're looking forward to hanging out with you!

Coming up on June 14th we'll be having our end of the year BBQ from 6-8pm and we'll be honoring those who are graduating and moving on from our ministry.  Come out and show your support.

And in June, we're welcoming up our incoming 7th graders to The Net.  Give them a warm welcome when you see them and let them know you're glad they're here.

Making Life Count and Buying Furniture

This Sunday night we're going to be starting a new series, Living a Life that Matters.  We'll take a look at life from the perspective of Solomon, the man who had it all, and his reflections on finding satisfaction in life.  We hope we'll see you here!

This video is more just for fun, but it did stir quite a commotion and raised some eyebrows.  Let us know what you think:

Dancing Suspension

The kid in the video below was suspended for going to prom with his girlfriend.  He attends a Christian school which has a rule that says "no dancing."  He wound up going to the prom (at another school) and as a result was suspended, couldn't take finals on time, and could not graduate with his friends.
